Ah, the Aussie Sunday barbie

Nice clear blue sky, warm day, nice breeze. Scribe, hubby and Scribe's mom came by this afternoon for a barbie. Her mom cooked us some wonderful fried rice to go with it. Trust me, no one can do it like she can. Yum. Lily behaved and I even managed to time her feeds so I could have a glass of wine with the food. Yay.

Friday night recap... Party was nice. Great food. Free booze. Cool digs, right in the middle of the city. Hot, sticky weather. Just walking the streets in the pre-Christmas atmosphere (it's like everyone was heading to some xmas party or other) was liberating.
