Very nice weekend overall. Had a lovely BBQ with great company on Saturday and a mothers group gathering on Sunday. Nice weather for both days, which was a plus since the kids could just run around while we all sat outside and relaxed in the shade.
Turns out I'm the only one now in the group (that was present on Sunday) not to have a second baby or one on the way. J used to keep me company but she spilled the news that she's now a few weeks preggers. The pressure is on! The end of this month is pretty much my deadline to make up our minds. After that, the shop is closed.
The only glitch in that whole weekend - if I don't count ending up at a Subway for my birthday dinner due my MIL faffing around again - is that Lily woke up in the middle of the night (Sunday-Monday), puking her guts out. So yesterday, on very few hours sleep, I had to care for a baby throwing up every 30 minutes or so. One of my t-shirts barely lasted 10 minutes before I had to go get changed - again. Oddly enough, last time we had a big meet with the other kids from mothers group, it was for her birthday and she got sick then the following day too. The good news is she seems better today - unlike last time when she dragged that out for days.
The inlaws are catching a plane to Perth tomorrow morning and then they'll be off back to England after the weekend. Life might get back to normal again... though since October I can honestly say I can't remember what 'normal' is.

Well, there were some red faces on the set the first day of shooting when Jim Brolin's son Josh showed up to play the part.
