SSSsssssssSSS

This is how it works: Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.

Ski-doo: Older cousin to the sea-doo, both gizmos are so cool to ride. Fond memories of winters and playing in the snow. My, that's like three Ss right here.

Surf: A surf beach. Waves to jump and play in. Freedom, floating on water and be rocked by it. One of many reason for moving Down Under. Wish I knew how to actually surf but I still got a few years left in me to learn.

Sun: Big, great, hot yellow ball in the sky. Heard he was chasing the Moon too. Ever heard of SAD? Well, I can count myself as a sufferer if I don't have my dose of sunshine regularly. Again, Oz is the cure.

Sand: See a pattern yet? I'm a Piscean and the water means a lot to me. For me, sand means beach and beach means the sea. (Hey, what do you know, another S.)

Slow-pokes: Sunday drivers. Slow down on the green. Drive ten below the limit. Usually hang in the fast lane, for god knows why. Wear a cap, a hat. What we call in French "pépères à chapeaux". People who should have never ever gotten a drivers licence.

Stereo: One of the best inventions, wouldn't you say? Can't imagine listening to my favourite tune through an old AM radio or a mono sound system anymore.

Stubborn: Pig-headed. Unreasonably, often perversely unyielding; bullheaded. Obstinate. Me. My husband.

Santa: Big man in red with a big, fuck off beard. Can't recall a time I believed in that whole charade. Still, Christmas wouldn't be the same without some Santas about.

Seether: Band. Rock. Something I've been enjoying for some time now.

Scott, Dougray: Actor. Hunk. Also, a native or inhabitant of Scotland. More Ss. That guy brings back memories of a good RPG I was in, and Scotland, well, is simply a wonderful country. Had one too many on a few occasions there, celebrating Hogmanay as one should. :)
