As promised, here's some pix from the Snowy Mountains, where we went for the Easter break.
The campground is right next to the Tumut River. Very relaxing and beautiful, despite the drought affecting the region.

Towards the Riverglade Wetlands...

Driving through Kosciusko National Park. You can see the damage from the heavy bushfires in 2003.

The below were taken south of Khancoban, at Scammel's and Olsen's Lookouts, on the dirt road leading to the Geehi Reservoir.

Lake Eucumbene, near the old Adaminaby. Note the flood line... it's incredibly dry now... desolate.

On the trail to the limestone Jersey cave, Yarrangobilly Caves. There's also a thermal spring there but we didn't get to enjoy its warm waters.

On the way back home, we stopped in Gundagai, a little township on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River. Yes, it's dry right now, but the height of the bridges tells you it's a river that used to seriously flood every year. Before all the dams.
