It shows that I left Quebec a while ago... Earlier this evening I got an e-mail from my father, wishing us Happy New Year. And in the message, he joined a .pps about the forthcoming 400 years of Quebec. That bit, I knew about. But the music that graced the presentation? Well, I wasn't acquainted with. Had to do some research and it turns out it's a band called Mes Aïeux and the track is Dégénération. I simply love it. Now I need to go home to get my hands on their albums.

How was everybody's 1st day of the year? It's already over and done with here but I bet most of you are still smack bang in it. Just had a swim at quarter to midnight. The weather's nice. The water's fine. Loads of stars above us, and, after a quick shower, I bid you goodnight.
