The place we went to last time with my mom e-mailed us Thursday afternoon to let us know their place was still free and that we could have it at a discounted price. Since Rob's parents wanted to see the Blue Mountains again during their visit, we thought best to snatch that deal. But that meant leaving pretty much without planning the next morning. Rob had to go to work and I had to pack us all up for the trip and drive us there. A bit of a mad dash, if you ask me, but we made it. :) Rob joined us in the evening by train.
I was knackered but it was worth it. (Plus we had heard through the grapevine that the twits two houses down from her were going to throw a party for Australia Day (26th) so we really didn't want to be around for that.) The weather is dryer and a little cooler up there so we slept very well. Now that we're back and still sweating like idiots past 10pm, I wish we'd had an extra night.
