That said, I'm not a Carter-basher. I like Sam Carter. I like her in SG-1. But I never thought she'd be a fit for SGA and so far the 4th season has done nothing to change my mind. I usually steer clear of spoilers so I had not heard about this at all until Gateworld's RSS feed came through. Left-side news for me, and I do fear who's next in line on the short list for the commanding position, but I'll celebrate while I can. :)
