WTF?

Sanctuary is renewed for a second season but Stargate Atlantis is canned? Shows like Moonlight, Women's Murder Club and The Dresden Files get cancelled but Sanctuary remains? They weren't brilliant but they were sure as hell more entertaining than Sanctuary. I just don't get it. Probably why I'll never understand why gems like Firefly and Now And Again get dropped...
