From my Animal paddock

Big rush of stuff to do when I came in this afternoon but it's now dying down... nearly to a trickle. Oh, well. (I'd rather be busy, makes the night go faster.)

For those who wonder about the subject of this post, it's to do with the name of the company I work with. Anyhoo, got some good news earlier.

A friend of mine and I get together on Saturdays to watch some movies or TV series. Yes, there's usually some drooling involved - especially going through fourteen Sharpe movies.

MutantX and Andromeda used to be our excuse but now Andromeda's new season isn't showing here yet (I mean we're over a year behind everybody else!) and we've given up on MutantX. I'd still do nasty things to Brennan but that's beside the point. Anyway, we need something else for when there's no new flicks to rent or whatever... and we'd settled on torturing each other. Her with some supposedly best DS9 episodes and me with a bad Michael Biehn movie, The Ride. But we both got saved today when my friend received her DVDs of Children of Dune mini series. Was nearly walking backwards to the weekend but I'm really looking forward to this now.

Anyway, better get back to it.
