Two weeks is still a long way away

Peace, man...

What to say? It's driving me insane, slowly but surely. Anyway, moving along...

It was Lily's christening on Sunday. Friends of ours have a son three weeks older than Lily so we decided to crash Owen's christening and do a double-whammy. :) Worked rather well. Big pow-wow, good food, great company and thoughtful gifts. Everybody had a good time despite the heat. Shouldn't complain when it's blue skies and you're having a spit roast on your back lawn anyway. :) Big thanks to E and D for all the organizing. I wish my mom and brothers had been there though. Oh well.

Next on the agenda is a trip to the Blue Mountains starting this Thursday. I'll be AWOL for four days so don't look for me. I hope Lily will cope with being away from home for that long. I hope her mother will cope with the in-laws for that long with nowhere to run. ::rolls eyes::

Take care, people. I'll see you on the flip side.

P.S. Saw Syriana tonight. And the US wonder why they're dealing with acts of terrorism?
