It's been a dreadful weekend on that front. We all expected it, with the hot weather and high winds, but the loss of life is staggering. My worse nightmare, being burned alive. Whole families have faced that last night. Some stuck in their homes, and others in their cars while they tried to flee the blaze. I just can't imagine... and still, the fires rage on tonight.
