I do hope they're exaggerating a bit...

NOT even the plains of Africa or the deserts of the Middle East will be as hot as New South Wales on Sunday. The state will become the hottest place on the planet, with the current heatwave sending temperatures soaring to 47C.

Sounds a bit pompous too, doesn't it? Check out the link, if you're so inclined. There's a little news video as well. Oh, and 47C is near 117F. Thing is, South Australia and Victoria have had it a lot worse, topping ten days straight of temperature over 40C. I don't think I'd cope.

Just thought I'd throw it out there, for the folks in the northern hemisphere, might warm you up a bit... is it still snowing in England?
